Just to let you know, the images in the post appear as ‘inline’ in the feed and really spoils the layout. I think you should look into it.

SMag has a nice tutorial for RSS tricks, which includes a write-up for customizing images in feeds, i think you should see that. ( http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/12/02/10-useful-rss-hacks-for-wordpress/ )
