I just changed the cat_id variable to $cat_id t = get_query_var(‘cat’); and then it got the current category and seems to work fine!

Hello I am using your theme and want to thank you for the time spent creating it and all the fun features available.

I had a quick question though. I am trying to edit your featured.php to get the featured post on every category page for the category that is being displayed. I got the featured post to be displayed on the category page but it is still just showing me the same featured post not the one for the specific category being displayed. Is there a way to accomplish this (I know there is) ,thought i may ask before i mess things up,

Is there an archive page template included with the theme?
In the demo there is a link to Archives but in my WP Admin panel there is only the options for Default and No Sidebar Template.
