Igloo – Bizz’d Up

August 11th, 2010

This month is all about news, so I’ve decided to update all of my News themes and pour more life into them. Igloo hasn’t been updated for a long time and now is the perfect time to do so.

Theme has proven track record, with over 10,000 users and 2 years of active updates. Based on users feedback, I crafted the layout and design to perfection, so rest assured this is not ‘just another magazine theme’.

Feature list is very long, but one feature really stands out and is new to our framework – shortcodes. In a few words, shortcodes are short code snippets, you may enter into your post area and enhance your post look/feel/layout without hassle. I wanted to get rid of those difficult and inflexible templates and give you simple tools to achieve even more.

You don’t have to pay for Igloo to use it. Commercial versions give you full support, psd sources and some premium features like SEO and automatic design control from your options panel. Otherwise, all my themes are offered for free and are more than enough for basic usage, the same goes for Pure Magazine. Updated Igloo and Pure Magazine have/will have loads of new features and will be updated regularly from now on – which costs sth and I’m sure most users don’t see this as abad thing 😉

Hi. We bought the Igloo News theme a while ago, it was still (I think) v3.2 or v3.4. Now we upgraded to WordPress 3.2.1, but the theme seems to bomb out. Do we have to re-buy the new theme, or is there a free upgrade for people who already purchased the previous version?

    Kind regards,
    Igi
