Love the theme and would absolutely love to use it. I started building a site with Berita 1.6(great theme!), but as this came out at convenient time, I deleted older Berita and installed this one. Unfortunately the latest versions(1.7 and 1.8) don’t work for me . I keep getting the “Berita theme configuration is not saved!” even though I follow your instructions.
I’ve tried deleting the theme and clearing up my domain folders, re-installing many times, saving without any changes made, resetting and then saving, or saving with some changes made. No theme options changes I make get saved. Hence I get the above message.
Any advice is greatly appriciated, thank you.

Website address should now show in my details. I don’t know how this helps you as the message is the standard Berita one, but then again I know very little about wordpress.
I don’t mean to publish the site yet as it is very much in progress, so I had the folder password protected. It’s open, now. Also just now thought if the the protection was causing the issue, and tested it again. Still doesn’t work.
This may be an isolate case. Also, considering I’m not a paying customer at the moment, I don’t expect a fix for this. Regardless I will include some info here about the server and so on. Thank you for your reply.

Do you have any active plugins? If you do, deactivate theme and save changes in theme again, … LMK how it goes.

Very good point about the plugins. Tried it but unfortunately my problem persists. I went as far as to deactivate all plugins and uninstall and then re-install Berita. No luck.
Anyway thank you kindly for all the help. I will follow BizzThemes progress with interest.

I’m closing the site again from public – need to work on it again. I may go back to Berita 1.6 or try some other theme.
I don’t know if you had time to view the problem, but in short it was the yellow box Berita gives when Theme Options are not saved. I can’t save them so I get the box every time. I think it’s something I have done, somewhere, so don’t worry about it. The theme looks solid.
Keep up the good work. I like your clean, simple-looking yet feature packed themes. Inuit Types is what brought me here in the first place.

People, you should know Željan went to great lenghts to help me get this latest Berita working. We(Željan) found that the error I keep getting comes from the way I have set WordPress up or the php settings. Confirmation will need more testing which I don’t have the time for, now. Maybe someday later. Will use older Berita for now.

Hi, I have recently purchased this theme, and I am getting the exact same problem as the poster above, I cannot move past the “Berita theme configuration is not saved!”after following your instructions.
I have tried re-installing the theme, removing WP and then re-installing (2.9.2) and still cannot get the theme to save configuration.
I’m guessing the issue will be similar to the previous poster’s issue, so could you instruct me how to fix?

Hello Željan,
I found out that Envoze, Enkelt and BizzFolio themes resets it’s settings and shows the box ‘Envoze/Enkelt/BizzFolio theme configuration is not saved!’, everytime I select any category, containing latin-2 characters in it’s name (ěščřžýáíéďťňľůúó…), as a porfolio category in the theme options.
So: porfolio category name must NOT contain any non-latin-1 characters, otherwise the theme won’t work and resets itself after theme options saving.
Strange, but I have tested the behaviour repetitively to make sure it’s not something else.
All those three themes (I have tested obviously only starter editions) suffers this vulnerability.
Cannot there be some connection to this Berita issue?
PS: Do you have some bug-traq somewhere for error reporting?

Hi, I just checked (installed theme update, used Reset settings button, then Show all settings).
All those setting boxes contains error:
Front Page Display Modules
Single Page Display Modules
Single Post Display Modules
Archive Display Modules
now contains those strange errors:

Remark: obviously, when I select category without latin-2 accents in its name, theme works like charm…

I have been hired to complete the work on this site from another web designer and I think he forgot or did not install the blog feature of this site. Is there a way to get this added back in? I have followed the steps to set up a blog but it is not working, and I noticed there is not template for a blog page in the “Template” drop down menu.

Hi how do make the slider to slide automatically in a given time frame? hope its possible. I tested the site with my friends and none of them noticed the slider nor click the arrow to slide the content. 🙁

I found that if I went into the Theme Options and clicked save changes on all of them then it worked. I think that the issue was that the theme options had never been set so there was nothing in the db about them so no array.
