Can you tell me why your themes use lot of MySql queries…It is ok that wp themes use up to 40 queries..but your use min 50 to 90..that is too mush if you have high traffic site. Can you fix that somehow?

I love the theme and want to use it, but no matter what I do, the website just won’t load with this theme. It will sit acting like it is loading for up to 20 minutes, but nothing happens.
I’ve redownloaded and reuploaded it four times to no avail. Anyone able to help?

Fantastic theme…Great Job!
I installed it and the carousel worked for a minute, then I added more content and it stopped working. I deactivated all plugins… still nothing. Image do not show. As well as feature content. I added custom image location with full URL as indicated and instead of displaying thumbnails, it displayed the link of the post. looks like script is not processing image. How to reset script? Need help :p Best.

I can’t seem to get the Twitter widget in the sidebar on my home page. It does come in the sidebar of my inner pages but not on the homepage. Same for the RSS widget. Any option to correct this?

Front page is widgetized so you’ll need to set up front widgets as well.

Actually the problem is that the sidebar widget cannot be seen on the front page. Since I have added Twitter widget to the sidebar, it only displays it on the inner pages. There is no way to re-add the Twitter widget to the front widgets since it is already added to the sidebar widget.

Oh, I see your issue – Twidget isn’t wp 2.8 adapted so it may only be used once – I will try to update it asap.

Afer that, i clic on “page return” on my browser, and change is good, but it’s a problem to , because it’s long.

i’m having trouble with the thumbnails and pictures. i’ve done everything the suggested website said in terms of troubleshooting–the value was already preset to 755–and still nothing; all I get is a copy listing of the post i’m trying to get the images to show up for. i’m using bluehost. any help would be greatly appreciated!

i mean i altered the cache file to 777 as per what the instructions say underneath the Custom Image Location section. but yeah, everything i try only leads to another listing within the listing i’m trying to insert the image to.

Hi, thanks so much for your great theme.
I’m planning to switch to it very soon and testing it now locally.
I’m abit confused with the widgets areas.
You’ve got:
1. Invisible Widget Area
2. Sidebar
3. Front 1
4. Front 2
5. Front 3
What I understood was, the “Front 1, 2, 3″ widgets will show up at the “Front Widgets” area at the bottom of home page and “Sidebar” widget will display on individual post page sidebar. I’m not quite sure what’s “Invisible Widget Area” use for.
When I actually tried those out, the “Front Widgets” area displays the contents of “Sidebar” “Front 1″ and “Front 2″ widgets.
The “Invisible Widget Area” displays on the post pages sidebar.
But where is “Front 3″ widget content display at? I can’t seem to find it display anywhere on the site at all.
So, could you explain abit more on each widget area and their display places please.

Hey Željan Topić, fantastic job on the theme. I’m really hoping I can make a few adjustments and use it for my news website, CivSource. I was wondering, however, if there were a few changes I could offer.
I’ve been looking to make the “most popular post” box display the entire headline without the [...] and more generally, do away with the [...] all together – is this possible?
Also, and more pressingly, is it possible to show publish dates next to other headlines (not just the featured post?)

Theme wasn’t designed to feature full post content on front as it wouldn’t fit the screen. However you may edit length of charcaters included in post excerpt … Dates can be published alogside other posts on front – edit the widget accordigly.

First of all I like this theme, it is really a GREAT theme!!
I like to know if it is possible to choose to open a new window when you click on the link put in the widget ,Bizz recent post from category (you can add 3 of them)
I tried things like target=_blank but that doesn’t work. I like to add a link to my linkedin profile but want it to open in a new window.

Hello! I wanna swich to this skin, but can you pls tel me how can I make a hook/mod to automaticly make a thumbnail from an inserted image like I have now? Cool would be like that “If I don’t complete custom thumbnail field the skin takes the first image inserted in article and adds it as a thumbnail” … can that be done?

Nataly, I explored your site and image alignment isn’t related to theme configuration. You need to align images to left when uploading them – use alignment options in ‘Add an image’ settings.

Dear Željan Topić. When adding pictures, I put the alignment right, left, center, but when you add them flush right.
In the admin menu, they look normal, correct, but the photo on the site right justified.

I recently installed and activated this theme (Which looks AWESOME!) But when activating it everything came out blank? I lost all template functionality and am only able to access a white, blank page.

How do I add link [Read more] at the end of reduction in posts, instead of [...]
I found how to do this only in featured post and only English letters.
Using Russian fonts displays unreadable characters.

When I install and activate the theme, None of my posts or sidebar widgets show up on home page. Neither does any of the thumbnails but Ive read your post on how to possibly fix that. This is probably on of the best theme Ive seen and would love to use it. Thank you!

Is there a general tutorial? I’m working on my sandbox site doing a badly-needed update and am using this theme. I’ve done enough to change colors and a few other items and think it’s absolutely gorgeous, and much better than the one I purchased! However, I’m one of those people who needs small words and detailed information on how to do some of these things, especially in generating the carousels. I want to do it right and would like to have something to reference. Yes, I’m even willing to print it out, lol. Thanks for any help!

Okay. then I need two bits of help … how do I go about getting the featured post area and the picture scrolling area to work, and how do the posts appear in the body? I really want to use this theme (it’s very different from what I have) that I want to take the steps needed to make sure that it looks beautiful when I launch it.
