I am proud to announce that BizzArtic.com has become (beta) live as of September 16. 2008. It will be organized as a virtual business for managing different business projects. I will manage them, and you will be, hopefully, my customers or advisors to success. I expect from you to advise me on different topics: User Expirience, Legal, Finance, Business Operations and especially Sales. As I earn money, you will be notified of every step I take and get 20% of every $ I earn. To learn more please read the rest of this post as follows.
What is bizzArtic?
Welcome to bizzArtic » a first real Virtual company managed by You an Me.
It has been established with aim to prove itself and others that doing bizz successfully is possible, if you just pick the right approach. Therefore, it is literally managed by community and it doesn’t get more open than this.
It currently works as a blog that includes bizzArticles which talk about the steps that CEO is taking to make bizz and the experience from it. There are also advices and other bizz related topics included, especially from the field of business informatics where bizzArtic will currently make revenue from.
In near future blog tends to become a community that serves people with ambitions to do business, hopefully bizzArtic style. To learn what bizzArtic style is, read some of bizzArticles, there is a bit of hope you may like it.
Author & Founder
Firstly, title should be named People, but for now I am the only one behind, other experts are outsourced.
To start, bizzArtic was founded in 2008 by Željan Topić, a graduate student at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, Slovenia.
“I have some skills and experience from IT industry, specifically from business Informatics so I thought my knowledge could be monetized fairly enough. That is why I started this weblog/site which is my “jump point” to bizz and promotes, hopefully, my skills from business informatics and bizz itself. I want to prove to myself and others that doing business can be fun and rewarding if you work hard and enjoy it. And, yes I am in it for money.”
You are probably asking yourself how this site earns money,…, I get sth from advertising but mainly get paid from giving Tips / Services to companies and others.
Tips / Services:
- Blog and Website Design
- Designing Identity
- CMS development
- Consulting & Reviews
- Instant Problem Solving
- more…
Values
Values that bizzArtic stands for are mainly shared with Google’s Philosophy of doing business. There is nothing new to invent but even though here are some of the values that bizzArtic will always try to persuade:
1. Focus on the user and everything else should follow
From its inception, bizzArtic has focused on providing the best user experience possible. While many companies claim to put their customers first, few are able to resist the temptation to make small sacrifices to increase shareholder value. BizzArtic will steadfastly refuse to make any change that does not offer a benefit to the users, which means:
- Business is clear and simple
- Customers get all the information they need
- No dirty tricks
- Only overall user satisfaction makes successful deal
By always placing the interests of the user first, bizzArtic wants to build the most loyal audience possible, as well on the web and as offline. Hopefully business growth will come through word of mouth from one satisfied customer to another, everything else is only an additive.
2. You can make money without doing evil
BizzArtic is a business. The revenue the company generates is derived from offering its services to companies or privates and from the sale of advertising displayed on bizzArtic website.
All the revenue is generated from serious hard work and not from using tricks to get it. For instance users always get the best service possible and satisfaction is almost guaranteed.
3. There is always more information out there
BizzArtic knows that there will always be people out there that know much more than bizzArtic itself. That is why we encourage you to participate in bizzArtic business projects and all the activities that are done on the web. Currently you can do that by posting useful comments on bizzArticles, giving us feedback regarding all the topics you want and of course by using our Tips & Services.
4. Great just isn’t good enough
Always deliver more than expected. BizzArtic does not accept being the best as an endpoint, but a starting point. Through innovation and iteration, bizzArtic takes something that works well and improves upon it in unexpected ways.
Concept
How it works? – The real bizz is managed by CEO, which is currently Željan and other bizzArtic staff. You give him/them tips how to do it and decide which mission critical steps to take through board section. For doing so you can earn $ if your advise is being recognized as valuable. Please note that every $ is assigned to users as the matter od subjective judgement of person in charge. In future $ will be assigned by community members by “credit point system”.
What is in it for me? – Sheer joy + You can get $ for contributing to community and in future revenue share from ads and credit points collected (Revenue share starts after site exceeds 100.000 unique visitors per day, see why).
How is $ distributed to members?
$ is distrbuted dynamically, different for each project, but everytime 20% of it goes to community members, see example: Blog design costs 2,000$, 20% of it is 400$ which goes to hand pisked members.
Please note that site is in beta testing so further changes are possible, but never in users disadvantage. I would love to see your opinion of this concept so give me feedback and we will see.
As a first step to fulfilling that mission, bizzArtic will promote Open business model, which has four mission critical paragraphs (maybe there are more but this is what we came up with for now):
1. No dirty tricks
2. No barriers inside nor outside organization
3. Nobody is perfect, use that fact
4. Politics sucks
